💔 Delete your Romeo & Juliet account

Settings → Delete account → confirm. Your profile, photos, matches, conversations, phone number and sign-in are removed straight away, and your account cannot be recovered. A few things deliberately survive — see What we keep below.

If you can no longer access the app, email alexanderalexandrakis1@gmail.com from any address, telling us the phone number you signed up with. We verify it and delete the account within 30 days.

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove things. Inside the app you can do all of this yourself, straight away:

• Photos — Profile → Edit Profile → remove any photo.
• Your bio, prompts and interests — edit or clear them at any time.
• Conversations — unmatch someone and the conversation is deleted for both of you.
• Your location — Settings → turn off Show distance. Your coordinates and your city are removed from the profile other people can read, not merely hidden.
• Your last-active time — Settings → turn off Show online status. We stop recording it.
• Your orientation — turn off showing it on your profile and it is removed from the profile other people can read.

For anything else — for example your verification selfie and ID, which you cannot remove yourself — email alexanderalexandrakis1@gmail.com from any address, telling us the phone number you signed up with and what you want removed. We verify it and delete just those items within 30 days. Your account stays open.

Deleting your account does not erase every trace of you from other people’s accounts, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise:

• Likes you sent. When you like someone, your first name is copied onto their account so their “Who likes you” list can show it. Deleting your account does not remove those copies from their accounts.
• Profile views and blocks you recorded on other people’s accounts, for the same reason.
• Safety reports. Reports about you, or made by you, are kept as a safety record. We cannot run a safe service if deleting an account erased the reports against it.
• Payment records. Google Play purchase tokens are kept for accounting and refund handling. They do not contain card details — Google is the payment processor and card data never reaches us.
• Verification photos submitted through the App are removed by a background clean-up that runs weekly, rather than in the same instant.
