Romeo & Juliet — Child Safety Standards

Romeo & Juliet ("the App") is a dating service strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This page describes the standards we enforce.

Adults only — 18+

• Creating an account requires confirming a date of birth showing the user is at least 18 years old. Accounts indicating an age under 18 cannot be created.
• Accounts discovered to belong to minors are removed immediately.

Prohibited content and behaviour

• Any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a minor is strictly prohibited and results in immediate account termination.
• Any attempt to solicit, groom, or arrange contact with a minor through the App is prohibited and will be reported to the competent authorities.
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is never tolerated. Where required by law, such material and the accounts involved are reported to the appropriate child-safety authorities (in the EU/Greece, the national police cybercrime division and INHOPE-member hotlines; elsewhere, the relevant national authority such as NCMEC).

Prevention and moderation

• Profile and chat photos are scanned automatically for adult and violent content as soon as they are uploaded. Anything the scan flags is deleted and reported for review.
• Profile verification (selfie-based, human-reviewed) helps confirm users are real adults.
• Users can block and report any profile or conversation in two taps from inside the App. Reports are reviewed promptly and acted on.

In-app reporting

Every profile and every chat has a built-in report function (the shield / report options). Reports go directly to our review pipeline. Users can also reach us any time at the contact below.

Compliance

We comply with applicable child safety laws in the regions where the App is available, including reporting obligations for CSAM. We cooperate with law enforcement requests made through lawful process.
